Tim and Camille met in a backpacker’s hostel in El Nido back in June of 2023. Tim initially hesitated to go on this long friend trip, but saw it as fate once a Cebu Pacific free flight voucher landed in his email. Camille was on a multimonth backpacking trip after a work contract in Seattle, and had accepted her cousin’s offer to visit El Nido with him and his friends.
Per Tim’s report, “Tim and Camille immediately fell in love”. But really, they got along great. So great that, by day 2, Camille had texted her friend in the US saying “I’m in trouble. I might have a crush on my cousin’s friend”.
The same Fate Fairies that sent Tim his airline voucher also rebooked his flight back home to Manila to the DAY BEFORE, ultimately making Tim miss his flight. He was then forced to spend another week with Camille, road tripping around Cebu–snorkeling, feeding monkeys and hiking to waterfalls.
For the next year, the two pushed through a long distance relationship. While Camille gained work experience to work remote and move across the world, Tim waited patiently for this move to happen. They did have occasional visits in New York City, visiting Batangas, yadda yadda, but most importantly, they planned for endless phone calls and facetimes, despite the awful time zone difference. In August of 2024, Camille moved to the Philippines!
Tim and Camille finally got to live in the same time zone, make plans together, laugh without a video chat delay, and be happy together yay!! While their adventures have continued —going on road trips, traveling around Asia, scuba diving, and flying a plane for the first time (!)— they find peace and play in everyday life together cooking, exercising, going on walks, going to the market, volunteering, and now planning a wedding and building a home together.
This upcoming March, they will have the pleasure of celebrating their forever together with you all, just 2.6 miles away from the very hostel they met at back in 2023.

Got questions?
We’ve answered the most common ones below to help you prepare for the big day.
Coming from Manila, how do we get to El Nido?
Option 1: Flying from Clark to El Nido
Starting March 2025, all direct flights into El Nido have moved from NAIA to Clark International Airport!! While farther, Clark is very new, clean, organized and calm
How to get to Clark:
– Drive from Manila to Clark – Overnight parking is PHP280/night. The overnight parking lot is very large and right in front of the airport entrance.
o Recommended
– Shuttle to Clark – 2-3 hours
o Pick up locations:
o Pick up times run every 1-2 hours every day!
Please use this link for updated schedule
times:
o Return shuttles from Clark to Manila are also very frequent
o Recommended
Option 2: Flying from NAIA to Puerto Princesa on a larger plane
This flight is direct, but you will need to ride a van from Puerto to El Nido, which takes about 4-7 hours and is a slightly bumpy/winding road. If you choose this option, we will book the van!
Coming from abroad, how do we get to El Nido?
All direct flights into El Nido will come out of Clark International Airport, which is a 1-2 hour drive north of Manila proper, so you have a few options:
– Fly from US Clark International Airport (a likely layover in Taiwan/Singapore) El Nido
o Recommended
– Fly from US Cebu Mactan Airport (a likely layover, as well) El Nido
o Recommended
– Fly from US Manila Airport NAIA (could be direct or with a layover) Van to Clark (There is a shuttle, but if you want private, we will facilitate, if you pick this option) Clark International Airport El Nido
– Fly from US Manila Airport NAIA Puerto Princesa (this is a bigger plane) (also on island of Palawan) 4-7 hour van ride (kind of bumpy) to El Nido, which we will provide, if you choose this option
Please note that the plane into El Nido is a small plane, with 2 rows of 2 seats
Where should we stay?
Our wedding will be at Seda Lio Resort, which is located at the Lio Beach Estate. This is about a 15-20-minute ride from the El Nido town proper. You have a few options:
– (Recommended) Stay at Seda with our discounted wedding guest rates. All
rooms are for a base 2 adults, but can accommodate 2 adults + 2 kids or 3 adults.
o ⭐️Contact us for our discounted wedding rates!!!!!⭐️
– (Recommended) Stay at a less pricey neighboring hotel. Some options that
are within a 10-minute walk to Seda:
– Stay in El Nido town proper, where you will find a very WIDE variety of hotels.
It’s much more touristy and chaotic and lively in this area!
Where is the Welcome dinner and how do we get there?
The welcome dinner will be at AP Kala, located in the Town Square in El Nido proper. We will be offering shuttles between Seda and AP Kala throughout the night. Some hotels have a shuttle going here, as well. If you’re staying in town, it will likely be within walking/tricycle distance.
What time should we arrive at the ceremony?
The ceremony will begin at 5PM, please arrive no later than 4:30PM!
Dress code for the welcome dinner and ceremony?
Welcome dinner dress code: All white–beach casual!
Ceremony dress code: Beach formal. Long gowns, button ups, long pants.
Please refrain from wearing black, white, short sleeves or shorts.
Phones during ceremony?
This will be a phone-free ceremony. Please be sure to have your phone on silent, as well! Our photographer will capture the ceremony for all of us, just enjoy it!
Plus ones?
As much as we want everyone to join, we have limited space for this wedding 🙂
Gifts?
We will not be having a registry. Your time and effort in attending is truly everything we could ask for.
We do have a seed registry for you to choose from, so please pick a plant and send a message for our future farm!
Outdoor or indoor?
The welcome dinner is a primarily outdoor venue, however, it is mostly covered.
The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will be outdoors. In case there is rain, it will be moved to covered/indoor parts of the venue. Let’s all hope for no rain!
